Robert Aaron Sippy, Sr.

Robert Aaron Sippy, Sr., 66, of Meadville, died Monday, March 1, 1965, at Ozona, FL, where he was vacationing.  He had been ill only a short time.

He was born February 15, 1899, in Fulton County, IN, a son of Sherman and Rosetta Croft Sippy.  He married Ina M. Floor March 19, 1918.

Mr. Sippy had retired about a year ago from the Erie Lackawanna Railroad where he had been foreman in the work equipment shop.  He was a member of Stone Methodist Church.

Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Ruby) Fugagli of Meadville; four sons, Merl R., Henry L. Donald R. and Robert A. Jr., all of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Shuman and Mrs. Marguerite Shank, both of the State of Indiana and a brother, David of Indianaopolis.  One son died in infancy.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
