Robert C. Eye
March 12, 1915 — October 19, 1994
Robert C. Eye, 79, of Meadville, died Wednesday, October 19, 1994, at Wesbury United Methodist Community, after an extended illness.
He was born March 12, 1915, in Elkins, WV, a son of Jacob Martin and Mary Catherine (Sandy) Eye. He first married Eleanor Woodley and subsequently married Gladys Calhoon Rohr in 1963. She preceded him in death on July 29, 1988.
He worked for forty years at Talon, Inc. and retired as a heat treator. He was a long-time member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Martha) Shaffer of Meadville; two sons, Robert Eye of Petaluma, CA and Chuck Eye of Meadville; two step sons, David M. Rohr of Bradenton, FL and James H. Rohr of Buckhannon, WV; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
