Robert E. Sikes

Robert E. Sikes, 61, formerly of Meadville, died suddenly at his home in Conneaut Lake, Friday, September 19, 1975.  He had been ill for four and one-half years.

Born in Meadville, November 13, 1913, she was a son of Lee S. and Mabel Stevens Sikes.  He was a tool design engineer at McCrosky Tool Corp. before taking disability retirement in 1971.  Mr. Sikes was past master of Masonic Lodge 408 and was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies, Zem Zem Shrine Temple and the Crawford County Shrine Club.

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Capt. Robert W. Sikes of Lubbock, TX and Dr. Allen L. Sikes of Springfield, VA and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald S., who died August 5, 1974.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
