Robert J. (Bo) Hassinger

Robert J. (Bo) Hassinger, 7, of Meadville, died Saturday at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, as a result of complications of head injuries he sustained Tuesday evening when a car struck him at Route 19, Hayfield Township.

He was born March 10, 1976, a son of Joseph L. and Suzanne Maas Hassinger.  He was a member of Christ Church Episcopal.  He had completed first grade at East End School and participated in Bantam League baseball this past season.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Holly Lynn at home; two half-brothers, Joseph L. Hassinger Jr. and John W. Hassinger, both of Meadville; two half-sisters, Jane Hassinger and Jeanne Hassinger of Houston, TX; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Robert Maas of Salamanca, NY; maternal great-grandparents, Mrs. Bertha Maas of Buffalo and Mrs. Mildred Quinlan of Cheekowaga, NY and a paternal grandmother, Mrs. Virginia Hoenen of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
