Robert “Bob” G. Minor, 83, of Jackson Center passed away on the family farm in the early morning of July 16, 2025. Robert was born to Robert Walter and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Minor on October 7, 1941. He was a 1959 graduate of Lakeview High School.

Robert married the love of his life and best friend, Nancy Ann Weber, on October 6, 1962. She preceded him in death on October 27, 2021.

Robert was a member of Ebenzer Presbyterian Church. In his early years, Robert worked Minor Acres Dairy Farm with his father. Robert continued to grow The Farm into a family operation. He opened two new portions of the farm, the slaughter house and Minor Acres Packing. Robert also was proud to have brought the first red and white cow to Western Pennsylvania. Her name was “Rita”.

Robert was a Pennsylvania FFA All-American and was always a huge supporter of agriculture. He was great with numbers and could rattle off the number to a math problem with ease. Robert was well known in the region for his Square Dance calling. He started when he was sixteen years old, and he knew how to keep the dancers moving.

Robert is survived by his children; Kathy (Larry Geibel) Minor, Robert “Bobby” (Brenda) Minor, and Kevin (Deb) Minor. Robert is survived by his grandchildren: William Malady III, Kailey (Caleb) Olsen, Montana Minor, Cheyanne Minor, and Morgan (Matt) McNany; and step-grandchild, Martin Shearer. Robert is survived by his great-granddaughter, Athena Olsen. Robert is also survived by his sister-in-laws, Artie and Bonnie Minor.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; Ronald and Gary Minor, and his step-grandson Tanner Edwards.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 99 Franklin St. Stoneboro, PA 16153 Friends and Family will be received at the funeral home from 3-8PM on Sunday, July 20. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10AM on Monday, July 21.

Memorial donations may be made to the dairy department at The Great Stoneboro Fair.
