Robert W. Myers, 77, of Meadville, a retired sales executive, died Friday, December 31, 1993, at the Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, after a period of declining health.
He was born in Meadville, May 18, 1916, a son of the late Earl C. and Florence McNamara Myers. He married Dorothy Sackett September 9, 1939. She survives.
He was retired as vice president of sales for Dad's Dog Food Inc., with more than 35 years of service. He also had worked at Talon Inc. for 15 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was graduate of Meadville schools and Ryder College of Trenton, NJ. He was veteran of World War II, where he served with the US Navy. He was a member and past master of the Masonic Lodge 234 in Meadville, the Scottish Rite Bodies of Erie, Zem Zem Shrine Temple of Erie, Crawford County Shrine Club, Timothy Alden Council 60, Solomon Royal Arch Chapter 191 and NW Commandery 25.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Robert E. Myers of Titusville, Gary A. Myers of Fayetteville, TN and James W. Myers of Ashville, NY; six grandchildren; a brother, Charles E. Myers of Taylor, TX.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
