Roberta L. Bullock-Reese

Roberta L. Bullock-Reese, age 73, of Conneaut Lake passed away Friday afternoon July 17, 2026, in her residence.

She was born in Frankfurt, Germany on June 14, 1953, a daughter of Frank and Marie (D’Valle) Bullock.

She was a graduate 1971 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and a 1975 graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Education she then completed her Master of Education at Edinboro University.

On February 8, 2018, Roberta married her longtime companion James R. “Dick” Reese, he passed away June 28, 2019.

She began her teaching career in September of 1975 with Conneaut School District, retiring in 2010 after 35 years of service in special education. While teaching she was a class advisor, volleyball coach, odyssey of the mind advisor, drama director, and supporter of Special Olympics.

Roberta enjoyed playing golf at Oakland Beach Golf Course, participated in golf course ladies league and couples league, and worked in the kitchen at Oakland Beach Golf Course for many years.

She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Americas Church, Conneaut Lake for over 40 years. Roberta was the chairperson for the 300-club annual fundraiser event for 7 years, after resigning she remained highly active and assisted with all aspects of the organization. She volunteered as a collection counter several times a month for numerous years. The Samaritans is a charitable organization that helps people in need, Roberta supported the gifts for kids’ activities and financially supported the organization.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Stacey George of Meadville; a stepson, Kevin Reese and his wife Julie of Homer, NY; a sister, Kathleen Carey of Texas; two nephews, Shawn Biery and Lance Biery both of Texas; a great niece, Cassidy Biery; a great step niece, Ellie Griffin; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Frank Bullock, Jr., a sister, Barbara O’Donnell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM in Our Lady Queen of Americas Church, 155 S. 9th St., Conneaut Lake with Father David Carter as celebrant. Family and friends will be received in the church on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE.

Burial will be in Our Lady Queen of Americas Cemetery.
