Roberta P. Hewitt

Roberta P. Hewitt, 65, of Meadville, died Sunday, March 2, 1980, at City Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born in Oil City, October 3, 1914, a daughter of Robert R. and Mary Roberts Philip.

She had worked for 23 years as a bookkeeper for Mellon-Stuart Construction Co., Pittsburgh.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, the Rev. Arthur Alden Hewitt of Catskill, NY; a sister, Mrs. Frances L. Sproat of Mercer and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
