Robert (Rob) J. Boyd, 22, of Saegertown, died suddenly Thursday, February 3, 1983.
He was born in Pittsburgh, January 7, 1961, a son of Kieth and Beverly Boyd. Rob was a graduate of Saegertown High School where he was a member of the yearbook staff. He was employed at Saegertown Carbide as a grinder. He was also a member of First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, M. Lisa Boyd at home; two brothers, Steven of Indianapolis, IN and David Boyd at home; maternal grandparents, Rev. Clarence and Mary Bowman of Sebring, FL; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Mary Boyd of Ligonier, PA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Ligonier Valley Cemetery.
