Sandy Lake, PA

Robin L. Pundzak, 70, of Sandy Lake, passed away on Tuesday, May 26th, surrounded by family at home.

Robin is survived by her husband Stephen of 47 years, sister Leigh, five children, four grandchildren, and two dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lorelei, of Tucson, AZ.

Robin was born in New Orleans, LA, went to college in Honolulu, HI, and started her family with Stephen in Hesperia, CA, before finally settling in Pennsylvania.

Robin loved raising her family, homeschooling her children, and homesteading. She firmly believed the most important job she held was as a wife and mother.

She was a holiday enthusiast and always had beautiful decorations and themed crafts for her children and grandchildren. Listening to audio books, gardening, and cooking were some of her favorite pastimes.

She worked at the Community Library of the Shenango Valley as Library Director for 11 years. Her passion project was the “Robin L. Pundzak Educational Resource Center,” which was dedicated in her name this past April.

A private celebration of life will be held by her family. To honor Robin’s legacy, the family asks that monetary donations be made to the Community Library of the Shenango Valley, 11 N. Sharpsville Ave. Sharon, PA 16146 with the subject line “Educational Resource Center”.
