Rose E. Howard, 96, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since April 1975, died Friday, April 1, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Marvindale, McKean County, March 11, 1892, a daughter of Fritz and Augusta Baymer Block. She married Ernest L. Howard in 1911. He preceded her in death in 1941.
She was a member of Kane United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Kane Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Ernest J. Howard of Huntington, WV; a niece; a granddaughter and a great-grandchild.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kasson Cemetery, McKean County.
