Roy S. Waid
January 12, 1893 — December 22, 1959
Roy S. Waid, 66, of Blooming Valley, died Tuesday, December 22, 1959, at City Hospital where he had been a patient for one day.
He was born in Woodcock Township, January 12, 1893, a son of Gunnip and Anna Slocum Waid.
He married Lelah Roudebush, August 24, 1914.
He was employed as a farmer most of his life.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Hilda) Coy of Meadville, Mrs. Leslie (Marjorie) Heald of Hayward, CA and Mrs. Clyde (Marian) Wilcox of Cambridge Springs; a son, Ronald H. of Blooming Valley; a sister, Mrs. Edna Thompson of Meadville and three grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
