Rush Shafer
May 26, 1883 — January 1, 1753
Rush Shafer, 68, maintenance man at Daniel Cozy Court for many years, died yesterday morning at Spencer Hospital from injuries received in a fall Friday.
Before moving to Meadville seven years ago, Mr. Shafer operated a farm in Union Township for many years.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ray Miller of Meadville; two sons, Howard of Meadville and Thomas of Erie; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dunn and Mrs. Carrie Ehrgott of Meadville; and a brother, Edgar of Cochranton.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Watson Run Cemetery.
