Ruth Rodgers Henrich

Ruth Rodgers Henrich, 79, of Meadville, died Tuesday, February 6, 2001, at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Pittsburgh, September 16, 1921, a daughter of George McLeod and Susie Mae Fisher Rodgers.  She married Russell C. Henrich, June 24, 1939, and he survives.

She was a 1938 graduate of Turtle Creek High School, and in Meadville had worked at one time for WMGW Radio Station, the Park Theater and Meadville City Hospital.  She was a member of the Penn Lakes Girl Scout Council and scout leader for 50 years; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a 52 year member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors in addition to her husband of 61 years, include a daughter, Roberta Gusky (Albert) of Erie; a son, Robert Henrich (Rosemary) of Las Vegas; five grandchildren, Heidi Figueroa, Greta Henrich, Alan Gusky, Carla Kielar, and Lynn Gwinn; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lila Mae Fair of San Antonio.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
