Ryan Brent Smith

Ryan B. Smith, 48, of Sandy Lake, passed away on May 30, 2026 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Greenville on July 17, 1977 to parents William E. Smith and Pauline A. Rosio.

Ryan loved swimming, his golden retriever Isla, and spending time with his four nieces. He was always smiling and happy and will be remembered lovingly by his contagious smile.

He is survived by both of his parents, William and Pauline; his maternal grandmother, Sara Rosio; two sisters, Lindsay (Lance) Hupp, and their daughters Savannah and Juliette, and Elise (Thomas) Fedorka, and their daughters Rhona and Aurelia; two uncles, Donald G. (Regine) Smith and Larry (Mary Lou) Rosio; two aunts, Jane Carlson and Elaine Hallahan; he is further survived by many cousins.

Ryan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Rosio; his paternal grandparents, Glen and Alvera Smith; a brother, Nathan Smith; and an uncle, Terry Carlson.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro.

Services will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
