S. Albert Smock

S. Albert Smock, 54, of Meadville, died at City Hospital, Friday, May 2, 1958, after an illness of five months.

A life-long resident of Meadville, he was born, March 8, 1904, a son of Smith A. and Emma Yochum Smock.

He was a retired employee of Pennsylvania Electric Co., a member of St. John's Evangelical Reformed Church, the Meadville Sportsman Club and several social clubs.  Smock played a variety of musical instruments and was also a member of the musicians' union.

Survivors include a daughter, Miss Ardath Jane Smock, a student at the University of Delaware, Wilmington, DE; his mother, Mrs. Emma Yochum Smock and a brother, Harry J. Smock, both of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
