Sarah E. Kepler
August 18, 1901 — August 11, 1971
Mrs. Sarah E. Kepler, 69, of Meadville, died Wednesday, August 11, 1971, at City Hospital after an illness of six months.
She was born on August 18, 1901, at Edinboro, a daughter of Lauren and Emaline Burge Lasher. She and Mr. Kepler were married September 7, 1921. Mr. and Mrs. Kepler operated Kepler's Grocery Store on the Conneaut Lake Road for 26 years before retiring in 1969. Mrs. Kepler was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Perry (Mabel) Darling of Meadville and Mrs. Edward (Mildred) Hanks of Meadville; one brother, Mike Lasher of North East and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
