Sarah Frances Ortmann
June 11, 1863 — July 11, 1863
Mrs. Sarah Frances Ortmann, 90, of Meadville, widow of Charles H. Ortmann, died Wednesday noon at the Flickinger Convalescent Home after a lingering illness.
Born July 11, 1863, in Belmont County, OH, she came to Crawford County in 1908 and had been a resident of Meadville since 1919.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church.
Survivors include five children, Lutellus and Charles H. Ortmann of Meadville, Mrs. Harold F. Shadley of Conneaut Lake, Mrs. Sarah Buchanan at home and Edgar J. Ortmann of Albuquerque, NM; two brothers, William J. Lashley of Pittsburgh and Josiah Lashley of Bellaire, OH; a sister, Mrs. Charlotte Rennard of Oil City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
