Shirley A. Hannaford

Shirley A. Hannaford, age 88, of Linesville passed away Wednesday afternoon October 15, 2025.

She was born in Cleveland, OH on December 12, 1936, a daughter of Frank and Eleanor (Neubeck) Schweter. On May 9, 1955, Shirley married Jerome P. (Jerry) Hannaford; he passed away May 11, 2006.

Shirley was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter’s Church, Conneautville. Shirley enjoyed showing horses at the Crawford County Fair, was a volunteer for Giving at Warren State Hospital, and enjoyed helping the elderly. She loved flowers, gardening, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Raymond Hannaford (Charlene) of Carlton, Ronald Hannaford (Mercedes) of Madrid, Spain; two daughters, Marylou Kirkwood of Linesville, Karen Culver (Gary) of Meadville; two sisters, Elaine Zicarelli (Louis) Conneautville, Carol O’Donnell of Cochranton; two brothers, Wayne Schweter (Erna), Leroy Schweter of Texas; nine grandchildren, Matthew, Lisa, Rebecca, Joshua, Wendy, Heather, Ashley, Sophia, and Kevin; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Kenneth Schweter and Dale Schweter and a daughter Darla Hannaford Hunter.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of service.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
