Shirley J. Thellman, 73, of Hartstown, died Thursday, August 8, 2002 at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Bristolville, OH October 25, 1928, a daughter of the late Archibald and Marie Promisberger Aumend. She married Charles D. Thellman January 31, 1950.
She was a 1948 graduate of Howland High School, Warren, OH. She worked for almost 10 years as a cook at Conneaut Lake High School. She enjoyed quilting and the outdoors and especially being with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
She was a member of Adamsville Presbyterian Church.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 52 years, include two daughters, Shirley Phelps (Thomas) of Meadville and Cheryl Garnet (Rocco) of Conneaut Lake; a son, Robert Thellman of Lisbon, OH; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Nanette Henkel (Charles) of Middletown, OH; and a brother, Maurice Bandi (Carol) of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Bradbery and two brothers, Russell and Paul Aumend.
Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Our Lady Queen of Americas Church.
