Steve R. Halaburka
September 27, 1917 — December 26, 1977
Steve R. Halaburka, 60, a resident of Hollister, CA, for the past three months, formerly of Meadville and St. Petersburg, FL, died of a sudden illness Monday, December 26, 1977.
He was born in Pittsburgh September 27, 1917. He married Fay Kerr First. He was a retired engineer with Westinghouse Corp. He was a member of Elks Lodge and the board of directors of Spencer Hospital.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Daniel K. First of Hollister; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Urban of Pittsburgh; three brothers, Michael, John and Thomas, all of Pittsburgh; and five grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
