Steven E. Nolf

Steven E. Nolf, age 54, of Meadville passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 29, 2025, in his residence.

He was born in Meadville on February 4, 1971, the beloved son of Melvin and Sandy Neiswonger Nolf. He graduated from Maplewood High School and built a life rooted in hard work, devotion, and family values. On July 31, 2010, Steve married the former Shannon Schafer, she survives.

For over 30 years, Steve made a career breeding cows and operating a dairy farm alongside his wife, Shannon. He was a man of the land, with hands that knew labor and a heart that knew love.

He found peace and happiness outdoors, hunting, fishing, farming, but his greatest joy came from his family. Steve cherished every moment with his children and adored his grandchildren, who brought endless light and love to his days.

In addition to his wife of 14 years he is survived by his mother Sandy, a daughter Riley Nolf, and son Zachary Nolf and fiancée, Michelle; grandchildren, Sophia, Zaylon, and Zoey. He is also survived by his brother, Chris Nolf; two sisters Jackie Hoover and Tammy Martone. Along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Nolf.

Family and friends will be received at ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 4-6 PM. The funeral service will follow at 6 pm.
