Sydna M. Holt

Mrs. Sydna M. Holt, 58, of Meadville, widow of Garrett B. Holt, died Wednesday evening at City Hospital following a long illness.

A daughter of the late George W. and Rose McIlwain Fox, she spent her earlier life in the Clarion County area near Parker.  She moved to Meadville in 1945.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church at Parker and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Meadville.  She was a member of the Aux. of the Grand Army of the Republic at Parker.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard E. Davison of Meadville; two sons, William L. Black of Erie and George A. Black of Rimersburg; her mother, Mrs. Rose Fox of Parker; a sister, Mrs. Clark Myers of Grove City; a brother, H. D. Fox of Emlenton and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Perryville Cemetery, Clarion County.
