Sylvia May Beck

Mrs. Sylvia May Beck, 74, of Oil City, died Thursday, April 25, 1963, at the Heaster Convalescent Home, Conneautville, after a short illness.

Mrs. Beck was born at Brooklyn, NY, July 7, 1888, a daughter of Frank E. and Estella M. Smith McCadden.  She was the widow of Fred J. Beck and lived most of her life in the Oil City area.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert E. (Florence) Hinds of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. A. Glenn (Frances) McCartney of Meadville and two grandchildren.

Services were held at the Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery, Oil City.
