Thelma L. Pastin

Thelma L. Pastin, 84, of Conneaut Lake, died Wednesday, February 14, 2001 at Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community.

She was born February 11, 1917 in McKees Rocks, a daughter of the late Adam and Pauline Reidel Dazen.  She married John F. Pastin August 14, 1937 and he survives.

She was a 1935 graduate of Stowe Township High School, McKees Rocks.  She was a homemaker and also worked as a state social worker in Pittsburgh for 20 years, retiring in 1978.  She loved golfing and was and was a former member of the Oakland Beach and Park Golf Courses Women's Golf Leagues.

She was a member if Fifth Sreet Presbyterian Women.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 63 years, include a son, Frank W. Pastin (Linda) of Crescent; two daughters, Shirley Krieger (Richard) of Uniontown and Janis Kesserling (Tod) of Mason, OH; six grandchildren, Sherri Marsalese, Wayne Krieger, LeAnn Pastin, Stacy Pastin and Audrey Kesserling; two great-granddchildren; a sister, Elsie Schaar of Greentree and a brother, Donald Dazen of Kennedy Township.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Forset Lawn Gardens, McMurray.
