Thelma M. Smith

Mrs. Thelma M. Smith, 54, of Mansfield, Tioga County, formerly of Meadville, died early Saturday morning, December 14, 1968, of asphyxiation when fire destroyed for mobile home.

She was born in Youngstown, OH, May 4, 1914, a daughter of Rollo and Gracia Graham Pardee.  She married Mr. Smith August 10, 1935.  She was a member of Golden Crown Chapter, Order of Eastern Star of Meadville.

Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Marjorie) Shue of York; a son, David L. of Seneca Falls, NY, now on assignment to Tienen, Belguim; her mother, of Meadville; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Moore and Mrs. Robert (Marian) Pusbach, both of Meadville; four brothers, Chester M. Pardee of Poland, OH, Charles L. Pardee of Geneva, Arden G. Pardee of Guys Mills and Richard L. Pardee of Meadville; a grandson; two uncles and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery.
