Theodore R. Emerson

Theodore R. Emerson, 52, of Guys Mills, died Saturday evening at City Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Guys Mills, he spent his early life in that community and later moved to Meadville where he lived for 12 years.  He returned to Guys Mills a number of years ago to resume farming.

He was a member of Guys Mills Congregational Church and Randolph Grange 190.

Surviving are his widow, Florence; two step-children, Mrs. Earl Pierce and Norman Swavey of Guys Mills; one great-grandchild; a brother, George Emerson of Meadville; one half-brother, John Emerson of Danville, VA; three step-brothers, Datus Hunter of Meadville, Solomon Hunter of Arizona and Nile Hunter of Guys Mills and step-sister, Mrs. Mabel Dingle of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
