Tracy Lynn Neal

Tracy Lynn Neal, 48, of Cleveland, OH, passed away Monday, August 14, 2023 at University Hospitals of Cleveland.

She was born September 3, 1974 in Jennings, LA, a daughter of John and Paula Rita Johnston Merriman.

Tracy graduated from William Patterson University, Wayne, NJ with a Bachelor’s Degree in English.  She was employed at University Hospitals as a credentialing specialist.

Tracy was a gospel music composer and recording artist.  A lover of life, she also loved flowers, shoes, and purses.

Survivors include one child, Crystal Neal of Cleveland; her father, Rev. John Merriman of Somerville, NJ; siblings, Kevin (Kathy), Brian (Vanessa), Denise (Steve), Melinda, and Stefanie (Bill); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, August 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE with Rev. Kevin Merriman, brother, officiating.

A chapel committal service and interment will follow in Rocky Glen Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
