Tyler James (Evil Eye) McNeilly, 26, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 and has ascended to his rock-n-roll Heaven.
He was born June 18, 1989 in Meadville, a son of James McNeilly and Susan Terry MacBlain.
Tyler attended Linesville High School and was enrolled to begin classes at the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburgh. He was employed as a cook at Applebee’s in Meadville and had previously worked at Chippers Pub in Meadville and at the Crawford County Humane Society.
A very bright man, Tyler had a comical and witty sense of humor. He was an avid skateboarder, enjoyed playing cards and video games, watching WWE events as an extreme enthusiast, and loved rock-n-roll music.
Survivors include his father, James McNeilly and his wife Scarlett of Cortland, OH, his mother, Susan MacBlain of Tidioute; his maternal grandfather, James L. Miller of Meadville; his paternal grandfather, Harlan J. McNeilly and his wife Barb of Newcomerstown, OH; a sister, Heather Lloyd of Meadville; a stepsister, Amber Jones of Norton, OH; a step-brother, Travis France of New Orleans, LA; a niece, Heaven of Meadville; two nephews, Devin and Shane of Meadville; two step-nieces, Courtney and Emma Jones; a step-nephew, Blake Jones; his beloved cat Rufus; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Florence V. Miller.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with the Rev. Philip Torre officiating.
