Valerie Jo Clayton

Valerie Jo Clayton, 84, of Jackson Center passed away on May 23, 2026 at Grove City Medical Center. She was born in Grove City, to parents Clarence and Hazel Westlake on December 8, 1941.

Valerie worked at MCAR as a caretaker for 12 years and she loved to play BINGO.

She is survived by two children, George Welton and Tena Britts, both of Florida; her husband, Paul A. Clayton Sr., of Jackson Center, PA; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Clarence Westlake; her sister and brothers, and a step-son, Kenneth DeWayne Clayton.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5pm – 8pm with cremation to follow.
