Vella B. Ploss
February 18, 1893 — December 27, 1977
Mrs. Vella B. Ploss, 84, who has been a patient at the Mead Nursing Home for some time, died at the home Tuesday, December 27, 1977, after a long illness.
She was the widow of LaVerne Ploss who died in 1950. She was born in Chautauqua County, New York, February 18, 1893.
Survivors include a grandson, Leonard Rickard of Darlington and four great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Isiah (Anita) Rickard and by two brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
