Victoria “Vicky” Ruth Trace, 67, of Sierra Vista, AZ, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Born on May 25, 1958, in Warren, OH, Vicky was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Judith E. Foust of Conneaut Lake, PA.
Vicky graduated from Linesville High School in 1976. For much of her life, she worked at King’s Family Restaurant, where she formed many lasting friendships. After moving to Arizona, she found fulfillment working as a school cafeteria manager on Fort Huachuca and assisting special educators in schools. A woman of faith, Vicky was an active member of Sierra Vista Community United Church of Christ. She served in many roles, including President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Women’s Fellowship, as well as a deacon and secretary for the diaconate. She organized Operation Christmas Child boxes for over a decade.
Vicky is survived by her husband of 19 years, Eric A. Trace; her daughters, Sarah L. McCracken (Meader) and Meghan V. Meader; her son-in-law, Travis McCracken; and her three beloved grandsons, Brett A. McCracken, Patrick J. McCracken, and Graham R. Garrett. She also leaves behind many cousins and relatives who will remember her fondly.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Dean R. Foust; her grandparents; many other relatives; numerous beloved cats and dogs who brought her joy.
As a final act of kindness and faith, Vicky donated organs, giving others a chance at life.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 30, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., with a memorial service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Rose and Waid Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson, AZ; Sun Valley Animal Shelter in Glendale, AZ; the American Stroke Foundation; or Donate Life America.
