Victoria "Vicki" Waid, 84, of Conneaut Lake, died suddenly Saturday, January 22, 2000, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Oil City, February 28, 1915, a daughter of John and Mary Krzys Lysowski.
She was a 1932 graduate of Titusville High School and was a homemaker. She had worked for several years at Talon. She was an avid golfer and gardener. She enjoyed music, especially playing her organ. She was a member of Fifth Street Presbyterian Church of Conneaut Lake and its church choir.
Survivors include two daughters, Susanne Waid of Casper, WY and Helen Yettaw of Spring Hill, FL; three sons, Raymond J. Waid of Meadville, John F. Waid of Emigrant, MT and Charles R. Waid of Conneaut Lake; four sisters, Helen Zern, Frances Smith and Virginia Zimmerman, all of Austin, TX and Kathryn Olosky of Cleveland, OH; one brother, Raymond L. Lysowski of Erie; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer E. Waid; a son, Paul Anthony Waid; a grandson, Michael Waid and two brothers, Anthony Paul Lysowski and Joseph Lysowski.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Brigid Cemetery.
