Virginia E. Hoenen, 82, of Meadville, died Saturday, April 17, 1999 at Meadville Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Meadville, November 19, 1916, a son of Peter Y. and Emma Hoenen, both of whom have predeceased her.
She was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church and was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph L. Hassinger, Jr. of Meadville and Raymond L. Hassinger of Titusville, FL; a daughter, Shirley Mahon of Vienna, OH; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, four sisters, Florence Badger, Laura DeLorenza, Margaret Stanford and Isabelle Terrill and a brother, Roy Smith.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Agatha Cemetery.
