Virginia Maddy
September 13, 1895 — May 5, 1977
Mrs. Virginia Maddy, 81, a patient at United Methodist Nursing Hospital since August 1975, and a former resident of Seminole, FL, and Grove City, died at the hospital Thursday, May 5, 1977, after a two-year illness.
Born in Wooster, OH, September 13, 1895, she was a daughter of Frank and Katherine Hartman Maize. She married Charles L. Maddy, March 21, 1921. She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, who is a patient at the United Methodist Nursing Hospital, she is survived by two sons, Richard M. Maddy of Sparta, NJ and Kenneth H. Maddy of Sparta, NJ; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Maize of Cleveland; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Crestview Memorial Park, Grove City.
