W. Warner Beatty, 61, died on Sunday, August 4, 1940, at his home, after a long illness.
He was born April 27, 1879. A lifelong Crawford County resident, he operated a farm in West Mead Township until recent years.
Surviving are his widow; two sons, Donald K. and Marshall I. Beatty, both of Meadville; a brother, Charles Beatty of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Etta Walton of Wayland, Mrs. Dora Gromel of Meadville and Mrs. P.B. Waid of Meadville; and one granddaughter.
Services were held at the Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Wayland Cemetery.
