Walter C. Luce, 61, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Friday, June 21, 1985, at his home.
Mr. Luce was born at Meadville March 10, 1924, a son of Raymond and Martha Crawford Luce. He married Patricia L. Heaslip, who survives.
He had been employed by Abex as a foreman in the shipping department. He was affiliated with the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Luce was a member of VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Elks Lodge, all of Meadville. He was a veteran of World War II with the US Army.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include a step-daughter, Jeanne Zachrl of Mercer; two brothers, Logan Luce of Meadville and Carl Luce of Cleveland, OH; two step-grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
