Wendell E. Rogers

Wendell Ellis Rogers, 9, son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer M. Rogers of Meadville, died Monday afternoon at Spencer Hospital following a week-long illness.

The boy was a third grade student at First District School.

He leaves two brothers, Coxswain Homer M. Rogers, Jr. of US Navy, now serving in the Pacific and Eugene M. Rogers of Meadville; two sisters, Maxine and Sandra, both at home; his grandmother, Mrs. Daisy Mitchell of Polk and his grandfather, McClelland Rogers of Cooperstown.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Franklin Cemetery.
