Wilda Dowdell
December 8, 1898 — September 25, 1989
Wilda Dowdell, 90, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, died Monday, September 25, 1989, at Wesbury following a brief illness.
Mrs. Dowdell was born in East Fallowfield Township, December 8, 1898, a daughter of William J. and Louisa Johnson Glenn. She married Lansing A. Dowdell, March 1, 1929. He preceded her in death January 6, 1969.
She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, Crawford County Historical Society and Daughters of the American Revolution, Saugerties, NY.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. George (Linda) Trumpore of Saugerties; one sons, Lansing H. Dowdell of Saugerties; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Services were held at Waid Fuenral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
