William D. Dickson

William D. Dickson, 87, of Blooming Valley, died Saturday, September 5, 1959, at City Hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Blooming Valley, February 18, 1872, a son of George and Mary Lupher Dickson.  He was married to the former Edith Drake.

Dickson was a well-known retired farmer.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Merle (Winifred) Bideaux of Woodcock and Mrs. John N. (Dorothy) Alford of Blooming Valley; a son, W. Dale Dickson of Linesville; two sisters, Mrs. Frederick (Bessie) Yost and Miss Blanche Dickson, both of Meadville; one brother, Noel K. Dickson of Sioux City, Iowa; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
