William E. Huson

William E. Huson, 86, of Vernon Township, died Wednesday, June 27, 1984, at City Hospital after a two-year illness.

He was born at Richmond Township, September 9, 1897, a son of Thomas and Lila Moyer Huson.  He married Edna Heffner April 18, 1917, who survives.

Mr. Huson was employed for 35 years at Talon Inc. as a chain machine operator.  He had also worked as a mechanic at the former Hill's Brother Garage.  He was a member of Meadville Rifle Assn. and was a life member of Vernon Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his wife, a patient at North Park Manor, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marian E. Brooks of Meadville; a niece; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
