William G. Brown

William G. Brown, 84, retired Erie Railroad employee, died at his Randolph Township home shortly before noon Monday, July 31, 1950, following a heart attack.

A farmer in his early years, he was employed by the Erie Railroad in Meadville for 34 years and was retired six years ago.

He was a member of St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church for Frenchtown, Protected Home Circle, Polish Club and Italian Civic Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Mae and three sons, Elmer, Paul and Lester, all at home; two grandsons, Ivan and Gerald Brown; also great-grandchildren and several nieces.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in St. Hippolyte's Cemetery.
