William J. Beuchat

William J. Beuchat, 93, formerly of Guys Mills, died Thursday Sept. 18, 2003, at Beverly Health Care, Meadville.

He was born in Guys Mills, February 20, 1910, a son of Leon & Dora V. Schenberg Beuchat. He married Violet Baney, April 30, 1936, and she preceded him in death October 22, 2000.

He was a 1927 graduate of Randolph High School, Guys Mills, and retired as a spinner, from the former American Viscose Corp. in 1975, after 41 years of service.

He was a member of St. Hippolytes Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown, and Meadville Eagles Lodge #429.

Survivors include 2 sons, David Beuchat & his wife Jean, of Conneaut Lake, and Donald Beuchat & his wife Martha, of Meadville; 4 grandchildren, William, Mark, & Gregg Beuchat & Lisa Swingle; 5 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Audrey Klins of Meadville, and 1 brother, Ray Beuchat of Guys Mills, and nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Joanne Dellamadaglia and Mary Jacobs.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, September 22, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Hippolytes Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown, with the Rev. LaMont B. Sayers, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in St. Hippolytes Cemetery, Frenchtown.
