William Joseph Shaughnesy

William Joseph Shaughnesy, 89, of Meadville, died at City Hospital, Sunday morning, March 21, 1965, after a long illness.
He was born at Franklin, February 29, 1876, a son of Michael and Mary Cohen Shaughnesy, and married Marian Stenstrom, September 24, 1899.
Mr. Shaughnesy, a glass blower by trade, was manager of Singer Sewing Machine Co. of Warren County for many years. He was a custodian at United Lutheran Church, Tarentum, for 10 years.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Meadville, and Mt. Jewett IOOF, Lodge.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. John E. Shaughnesy of Meadville; two grandsons, John and Larry Shaughnesy of Meadville and a granddaughter, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Felix of Pittsburgh.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights, Allegheny County.
