William A. McCartney, 92, of Guys Mills, died Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Heinlein of Erie, after a long illness.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Walter Burchard of Guys Mills, Mrs. Heinlein and Mrs. Frank Peelman, both of Erie and Mrs. Herschel Longberry of Townville; thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
