William F. Paxton, 64, of Sandy Lake, PA passed away on June 21, 2026 at home. He was born in Aliquippa, PA on October 7, 1961 to parents Wilbur Paxton and Barbara Junak.
He graduated from Jamestown High School and went on to work as a mechanic for many shops in the Mercer County area.
William loved fishing, watching NASCAR, and working on cars.
He was a member of the Balm United Methodist Church.
William is survived by one daughter, Kayla (Skip) Dehus; three grandchildren, Garrett Weaver, Ruby Dehus, and Ayden Dehus; one sister, Theresa (Steve) Paxton; three nieces, Yvonne O’Day, Sheri King, and Leesa King; and his ex-wife, Clarinda Surrena.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro.
A private memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24 for family.
