Winifred P. Dain, 83, of Meadville, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at Integrated Health Services of Erie at Bayside, where she had been a patient since February.
She was born in Erie, October 7, 1916, a daughter of Thomas B. and Annie Anderson Pattinson. She married Robert B. Dain, March 5, 1941, and he preceded her in death December 30, 1086.
She was a homemaker and an accomplished seamstress whose creations were appreciated by all her family. She especially enjoyed reading.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet Dain-Feris (Peter) of Santa Monica, CA and Carol Simoneau of Waterbury Center, VT; two grandchildren, Jordan and Zachary Faris; a sister, Mildred Bailey (Roy) of Leeds, AL; and her dear friend and sister-in-law, Aileen Prodan of Meadville.
Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
