Woodrow Henry

Woodrow Henry, 78, of Meadville, died Wednesday, January 11, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center after a sudden illness at home.

He was born February 6, 1916, at Venango, a son of the late Frank and Opal Payne Henry.  He married the former Nellie Sheckler, October 22, 1935.  He retired in 1975 from Talon as a Machinest, after 44 years of service.  He was a veteran of  World War II, with the US Navy.  He enjoyed both hunting and fishing.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Herb Henry of Meadville; two daughters, DeeAnn Winiecke of Meadville and Mrs. Carl (Donna) Siegel of Rochester, NY; two half-sisters, Dorothy Sheckler of Saegertown and Jessie Himes of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
