Zachary Hughes Sparks, 16, of Conneaut Lake died Saturday, July 20, 2002.
He was born in Pittsburgh, November 6, 1985 a son of Douglas G. and Carolyn Swager Sparks.
He was a student at Quaker High School, Sewickley and was working this summer as a waiter at the Hotel Conneaut, Conneaut Lake.
He loved the water, enjoying boating, skiing and especially wakeboarding.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his sister, Elizabeth Sparks; his best friend, Ashley Taxacher of Conneaut Lake; his paternal grandmother, Ella Mae Sparks of Fairfax, VA; two uncles, Duane "Biff" Swager, II of Mt. Lebanon and Sherman Sparks of Morenci, MI; two aunts, Susan Becraft of Mt. Lebanon and Loretta Johnson of Fairfax, VA and two cousins.
Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Foust Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
