Zella Elizabeth Miller

Zella Elizabeth Miller, 82, of Meadville, died Tuesday, June 4, 1996 at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.

She was born May 18, 1914 in Jefferson Co., PA, a daughter of the late David Samuel Himes and Selma Harriger Himes Heitzenrater.  She married Earl Miller.  He preceded her in death on December 8, 1974.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker.

Survivors include, four sons, Lester J. Miller of Ellwood City, David S. Miller of Meadville, Donald E. Miller of Conneautville and Jerry Lee Miller; one daughter, Anna Mae Shaw of Meadville; two sisters, Ruby Pearl Alleman of Meadville and Claire Duncan of Ellwood City; one brother, John Himes of Wampum; two step-sisters, Edna Shields of Youngstown, OH and Ethel Hawk of Indiana, PA; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathleen Joyce Miller and Georgia Anna Miller; one brother, Lawrence Himes; two sisters, Georgia Blanche Miller and Clara Miller; one half-brother, Ray Heitzenrater and one step-brother, Earl Heitzenrater.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rundell Cemetery, Spring Township.
